Acupuncture
Bronagh Armstrong, Dip.Ac, Lic.Ac

Acupuncture is a therapeutic method originating from Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM) which involves the insertion of fine needles at specific points on the body to bring about a natural healing response.
Acupuncture points are located along energy meridians in the body which relate to different organs. During consultation, the acupuncturist asks questions about your current symptoms and general health and lifestyle to determine underlying imbalances and choose the most beneficial points accordingly.

The needles used are very fine (0.25mm) to ensure minimal insertion pain and the experience is normally relaxing as the nervous system shifts into a parasympathetic state.

Bronagh is a highly trained, ATCM registered acupuncturist. She received her Diploma in Acupuncture from the Acupuncture Foundation Ireland following 3 years of training and completed clinical placement in Nanjing, China with the Nanjing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine to receive her Licentiate in Acupuncture. She is based part-time at her practice in Omagh “Acupuncture by Bronagh” and is currently undertaking further study to earn her diploma in TCM Gynaecology and Obstetrics.
